I'm not offended that easily :)
Now I'm a big peacemaker and I don't believe in war.
I just said that we've survived the apocalypse, actually two or three within a decade. Having learned from that experience, I always prepare myself for the worst. Although it's much calmer now and we lead a somewhat normal life. Neither the fake corona crisis, nor this latest war in the Gulf surprise me much. Be prepared for the worst if it gets better, that's great. It's not some philosophy, but when you realize that you have to take care of your family yourself, because everything else doesn't work.

I agree - it's more 'realistic' than negative to prepare for the worst. People forget easily and just go on as normal, and then are suprised when things take a turn for the worse. We weren't suprised by the what's happening now either. Let's hope it does eventually get better, though we're in for some hard times I imagine.
