Through this community, I met someone who is passionate about their garden and committed to keeping it healthy, beautiful, and very organic. I think what I like most about their garden is that most of what they harvest can be used as food or as an essential ingredient in a recipe.
So, I have been inspired, or that person has served as an example to motivate me and make me want to fix up my garden to try to make it something productive that I can use to prepare my food.

Last Saturday, I went to visit something that we call a “nursery” here in my country, which is a place dedicated 100% to plant care, selling fertilizers, compost, and practically everything you need for the garden.
It seems unbelievable, but I have been living in this city for seven years and this is the first time I have been to this place. I fell in love with the space and some of the plants, which I plan to buy when I have the money.
Well, the purpose of my visit to this place was to buy some soil to add to the plants I have at home.

As you can see in the pictures, I bought some bags of soil, as well as some containers to repot some plants that were given to me a while ago. The containers they were originally in had become too small for them, so yes, they deserved a new home where their roots could continue to grow and the plants could look even prettier.

So far, my garden only has a few aloe vera plants, white basil (that's what they call it), annatto, black tea, I have an almond tree, and the other plants are just for decoration, such as the cactus, one they call mother-in-law's tongue, and another that I brought home because I saw that it grows very nicely.

Fue una tarde muy sabrosa, me transmitió algo de relajación y por unos minutos me despeje de lo que era la computadora, el teléfono (bueno, solo para tomar las fotos) y cualquier otro uso relacionado con pantallas.
Well, you can see that even my cat joined in to help me, although he ended up hurting his paw because he was attracted to the captus and wanted to play with it, and it ended badly for my cat.
I spent practically my entire Sunday afternoon doing this activity, taking my time, staying calm, and being very careful when transplanting the plants because if you disturb them too much, they can wilt, so it was necessary to do this with a lot of patience and care, trying not to disturb the roots too much.
This isn't really the first time I've worked with plants, because I studied at a school that was like a farm, and there I learned a lot about caring for them, and now I've put some of that knowledge into practice.
For this process, I've only used one of the bags of soil, and that's because I added the rest to the aloe vera plant that's planted directly in the ground. Now, I'm saving the other bag I have left to prepare a small space where I can plant some chili pepper seeds.
In the meantime, it will be there waiting for me to take another afternoon off (hopefully soon) and buy some tools I need to make it look nice.
I'll show you how my plants turned out, and of course, I'm watering them every day because it's really hot here.
In the meantime,
Bye, friends, see you in my next post where I'll tell you about the progress of my garden.

my aloe vera sick and the roots rotten.. I have to change the growing media?
Hello,
Yes, you need to check that it has enough soil and that it doesn't receive too much water, just what it needs, depending on its size. Leave it in a container with plenty of space.
You have a beautiful garden. I love your aloe vera. I am looking for aloe vera seedlings nowadays. I want to grow some for personal consumption, as it is a good hair grower.
Yes, they are very good for hair, nails, and cleaning. Good luck finding them.
I love your garden because we used to have like that before. Planning to create a new one.
Oh, great, have you shared a post about your garden here? I'd love to see it.
Not yet @rosmiapure
