Yay for an apple! Maybe it will make more when it's bigger/happier with its roots/something?
We've had a couple of years where we were on holiday when everything in the garden was ready to go. Least the inlaws who were housesitting at the time had some nice snacks ^_^
Did not realise almond fruits were that big compared to the nut, and I don't know why that amuses me so much.
I thought I had read somewhere that fruit trees bear loads of fruits every other year. At least some people have enjoyed them during our holidays 😀
The almond is an interesting nut because the nut is protected by two shells.
And the inner one is quite hard to crack:
