Somehow I missed this back when you posted it! I agree, it's important to grow things you will actually eat. Also, I've learned it's important to mostly plant things I know will actually grow here, and limit the number of experimental crops. It's too easy to browse through a seed catalog and say, "Ooooh, I want to try to grow that!" with each turn of the page.

I have had to change the way I eat, what I eat. Fortunately, I have a tiny garden and can't plant experimental stuff - there's no room! Although for the sixth year now, I've got some okra in. It has never done much for me before, so this year I'm trying a new variety. I love gardening. Thanks for stopping by!
I am not familiar with okra and have never tried to grow it.
