Creative garden pots and decorations with the use of recycled materials inspired me to use them in our school garden. We don't need to use such expensive materials to grow our garden beautifully. Recycled materials will do and it can help in waste management as well.

First, I would like to say HELLO to the wonderful people all over the world. Hope everybody is healthy and doing great!

Anyways, I wanted to share with you the recycled materials that we've been using in our school garden. Useful to us and help to save the environment as well.

We know already that one of the problems nowadays is the proper disposal of garbage. In this blog, I wanted to share with you how important to recycle some of the garbage thrown into the garbage bin.

How to make Creative Garden and Decorations from Recycled Materials

The Old Tires

Some motor riders would prefer to throw their old tires rather than keep them in one place. Old tires may be less valuable to them when they change new tires. Sometimes when there going to change new tires, they just have to leave the old one at the repair shop.

Now, this is the new version of the old tires. I used them as pots in our garden. Since I planted this with kangkong and sweet potato, I used bamboo as our fences. See! from worthless to more valuable things in our garden.

Some of the Usage of Old Tires

This is used as a ladder in the garden. You're not getting dirty when you step on it during rainy days because when it rains the soil will cuddle your footwear and entertain you until you leave.

Old tires may be used as fences in the garden as well. Just paint it with attractive color then cement the ground or the base to make it more durable. " No trespass allowed here".hahaha

The Empty Gallons

These empty gallons were brought by my students. These were from their houses, old and not useful anymore. I told them to bring gallons for our pots, they excitedly brought them to school because according to them this can be helpful to our school garden.

This kind of gallon could last for many months or years, so I prefer to use this than those expensive pots. I planted here my tomatoes, pepper, basil, and Chinese kangkong. Useful indeed in our garden, since we only have limited area for the garden.

The Plastic Bottles

The plastic bottles that are big sizes can be planted with lettuce, Chinese kangkong, and spring onions. This is also last for many months.

In my garden, I used small plastic bottles as decorations. These were bottles found in the garbage can and we decided to recycle it. No need to paint any color because its yellow-green color is already attractive.

See those decorations? Who told you that garbage is not useful anymore? It is useful, right? This can be a creative decor, just paint it and that's it!

Self-Realization

The determination of someone could push him through and leads him to be successful. When you determine to achieve something and you put all your efforts and strength to achieve that no matter what could make it possible. This is in connection with when you wanted to have a beautiful and well-grown garden. Hard work, perseverance, and determinations are the key to achieving the goal.

That's all for now my friends. Hope this inspired you to have a garden in your backyard. No need to have a wide space. Thank you for reading this until her. God bless

True sis recycled materials really a big help. We can help our environment and the students who mitigate hunger as well. Dahil sa nagtatagal ang tanim at tuloy tuloy ang pagharvest. Nababawasan ang gutom ng mga bata sapagkat maaring kasi magdala ang mga bata kung ano ang naharvest sa araw na iyon.

This is AMAZING! I adore what you all are doing with these recycled materials.

The use of the old tires blew my mind. They actually look pretty cool lined up all colorful. I would have never thought to use an old tire for a planting pot. I really love those stepping stones too.

Thanks so much for sharing ~ 😃

Indeed @crosheille. Recycled materials were useful in our garden. We just have to innovative something from this materials that were thrown away and it was useful and helpful in our garden.

You’re welcome ~ 😉

God Bless!

Wow very creative! It's nice to see recycled plastics being used everywhere atleast we are doing something to make our environment clean. Keep it up!

It's very cool, around here near my house the mayor's office decided to reuse rubbers to decorate the streets and to make pots, they decided to use bottles to create sculptures and paint them, and many other things. Recycling not only helps the environment but we can benefit from it, I have seen many people make a living creating figures out of things they find in the garbage, and the figures are amazing. Great post!
