Big goals drive progress but can also be discouraging. Self sufficiency is the goal but we are always just happy when we are eating from our own garden, whatever it is and however much we manage to grow 🙂 We are trying to deal with the feast or famine crops by freezing, dehydrating, pickling. I would like to learn canning but that seems too intimidating. Love your garden space and envy your climate. We lived in California for years but life was too busy to take advantage of the nice gardening climate 🙁
