RE: 2022 GroVid Harvest Recap

Nice recap. I have a journal but haven't put it together in a summary. We had a good year. First year for this garden so not sure what to expect or frankly what a "good" year is. We are a bit milder since we are further north and we watered often. Plus all the beds were new with fresh top soil. We had a lot of fun with it so I guess that makes it a "good" year.

Sort:

I am not positive, this is either year 6 or 7. (Although, container pots gardening for even longer.)
My typical Grow Bags are 1/3 soil from last year, 1/3 compost, 1/3 peat/coco coir), plus amendments n fertilizers... and yeah, definitely you had slightly more rain - less heat too. That's ok, we all go thru cycles.

For me, I didnt seriously start tracking the gardens until 2020. Before, it was more of a "gut feel"
now, I track each plant, weights for harvest, and more. It may seem geeky, but, it did help me to decide on some different varieties to stop growing, since they aren't really productive. Plus, what can I say? Geek at heart.
