Nothing better than when the wind dies down and the water is like a mirror!
Definitely enjoyed many peaceful times this past week, more so than lately, even with being busy. I got much of the stressful bureaucratic, work and adulty type tasks done that have been causing me stress, which is such a load off. I feel like I’ve been able to finally decompress again which I couldn’t be more thankful for.
Feeling pretty peaceful and accomplished now.
I will figure it out. No matter what it is, I can get through it, I can deal with it, and I can overcome it.
Moments like this make everything worthwhile!

Now I have some more sunshine to pack away for winter!
I headed to a beach to forage for some nice clean bladderwrack seaweed for eating, plus some for the garden as well.
This stuff is great for soooo many reasons and it grows on every beach in my area in abundance.
This is my fresh pile all washed and ready to be dehydrated!
A friend of mine has made “popcorn” out of this stuff, she says it is a great treat! I might have to try that as well. Much of my harvest I’ll probably grind for supplements once it’s done dehydrating, it’s very high in iodine and other nutrients.
I spotted many wild strawberry flowers along the bank, plus a TON of crowberry bushes. Two more things I’ll be picking like crazy this year and storing away like a squirrel!
