December garden preparation for spring

No matter how much I tell myself it's the last time, it's still happening. At some point I start buying new plants for my garden. It's like a mania. Probably somewhere deep in my subconscious ancestors wake up, who say that we must cultivate the land for survival 😂 And although now I try to be very restrained in shopping, the next plants are coming to me.

So, what do we have here.

I ordered three sets of strawberries. Two are large varieties and one is ampel. I love this berry very much, but I have a complicated relationship with it. This time I decided to plant all the plants in the greenhouse. After all, in the spring I can transplant them into the ground if necessary. I don't want to leave the plants in the house because they won't have enough light because of the blackout.

I also added a collection of tree-shaped hibiscus. Due to the large number of animals and birds, I have a complicated relationship with flowering plants. I like it when there are a lot of flowers in the garden, but the reality is that one of them will definitely dig up or trample delicate plants.

The advantage of tree-shaped hibiscus is that they are quite strong shrubs. Of course, I need to protect them at the initial stages. But this problem is solved with the help of large pots. And later they feel great despite the chaos that reigns around. So, I ordered two terry types. I hope they will become another decoration of my garden.
