The natural disaster that hits my garden every year is known as winter and spring!
The long cold winter definitely kills most by the heartiest of perennial plants. Blasting it with frost, then crushing it with a glacier for at least a couple months.
Then, spring slides in and dumps monsoons of rain on top of all the melt water and the flood brings a pond to the back yard. So, I have to wait for all of this to dry up and start from scratch repairing all of the garden boxes and preparing the soil when I don't have to wade out to them.
Not really a natural disaster but definitely not helpful!
