Welcome to a new post, dear Hiver!

I have a playlist on my YouTube channel called "how to care for a syngonium🌱, the journey of a phoenix🐦‍🔥" a rather long name, but I think it is quite significant.

Today I was doing a few things in the garden, like refilling the seed trays, fixing some plants that the cats had attacked, and feeding the syngonium.

I don't usually buy potting soil, mainly because everything is extremely expensive, so I use whatever's in the garden: soil, dried tree leaves, and aloe vera.

So, to make my syngonium beautiful and have lots of leaves, I've decided to give it a little more work.

Last month, I fertilized it with boiled bean water, and I noticed a significant change: more new leaves sprouted.

Now it no longer needs fertilizer, but I've noticed that the mango tree stick I placed there hasn't served as a support. I found that strange because in its natural habitat, it grows on trees. But anyway, I'll have to get a stake.

In the meantime, I'll plant the entire branch I have. That will help it reproduce very well in the ground.

So I removed the stick, scooped out the soil, and got to work.

I took some eggshells from breakfast, brewed coffee, garlic peels, chopped some leaves with the garden shears, and also two aloe vera leaves.

The idea behind this is also to reduce the weight of the pot by using organic matter, as it previously only contained soil, which made it very heavy.

I could leave it as is, of course, but I prefer to do this because I have to take the plant outside to water it, and the weight makes it difficult to carry, so I've even put it off on occasion.

So this would save me from carrying unnecessary weight, which my back will greatly appreciate.

Once I had everything...

Once I had all the perfect organic ingredients for plants, all I did was remove the plant from the pot.

Then I replaced the mango tree stick (I haven't lost hope that it will be useful someday), secured it with the stones I already had, and began adding my ingredients, as if it were a magic recipe.

Yes, yes, yes, the truth is I have a lot of fun doing these things.

First, I put in some dry leaves. Then I added the soil.

I got to a good level and placed my plant.

I didn't loosen the soil around the roots, just a little, because I didn't want it to affect them.

Then I filled it in with the soil I created from organic matter.

Now she looks like she's suffering from terrible depression

Well, here you can see her, she looks like she's had a breakdown. But she'll be fine, don't worry about her. She's just adjusting little by little.

In a few days, it'll be back to normal; it'll even look much better than before.

It just needs time and a lot of patience.

So, I won't water it these days, since I already watered it today. I'll wait a week. Or maybe even two. This plant is perfect for anyone who's forgetful because it can go long periods without watering. I love that.

Now your pot is lighter

We've achieved our goal! The pot is now lighter, and in addition, it also has several ingredients in the soil that will serve as powerful nourishment for this houseplant.

For now, I just have to wait a bit.

I never thought that plant needs care for it to grow. I see that a lot in forests here growing freely even if it's unattended. I thought it's a wild plant that only grows in the forests.

I've seen very few here. Since I have it in a pot, I have to take care of it. It's not in its natural environment, so it couldn't survive on its own. So I take care of it to keep it looking beautiful.

Wow! This plant is perfect for me. I used to forget watering my plants at home, and some dried up and died.
