This is my version and how I interpreted the Ashkeeper from the charactober drawing challenge of london65. This particular prompt I find interesting to draw.
First I need to make sure I hit most of these as prescribed in the challenge
Design Hook:
Vast cloak of gray drifting ash.
A pouch or urn glowing faintly inside.
Trail of soot where they walk.
Play with cloak as environment Ashkeeper is surrounded by its own weather.
Dramatic silhouette piece ash cloud should feel alive.
All of the above helpful in conceptualizing the character so let me show you how I made mine

Here you can see I started with the cloak to make sure that I nailed that part. Not an animal or other character but the shape I want is the cloak.

Here it was quite easy to add the ashes and smoke, That thing in the middle is a light source like a lamp.

To emphasize the light I added some colors like red and golden yellow and smudged the line drawing blending the cloak with its environment

After I finalized the ash and smoke effects I added some details to the environment like burnt trees and buildings

Here I added more colors to give it that ember or fire and light inside the smoke.

Your visual art work is very interesting, with successful effects that create a kind of impression in us that is somewhere between the ghostly and the dreamlike. Best regards, @allyson19.
