Prompt: Moon Window
Today’s prompt is Moon Window, and I approached it slowly I imagined a window that isn’t just for looking out, but for resting in where you could sit, hold something warm while the night exists. In this case I made an old character read a book. The moon here feels soft and distant, more like company than a spectacle. It doesn’t interrupt. It just stays to give light and keep you company.
This drawing became about stillness as I went on drawing it. The character is just being held by the glow of the moonlight, the quiet moment by oneself and the calmness of the moonlit space.
This is Day 5 of the Just Draw challenge.
No pressure to be literal. No pressure to make it impressive. Just responding to the prompt in whatever way shows up.
If you missed a day, joined late, or are moving at your own rhythm, you’re still very much part of this.
Draw at your own pace
Here are some progress photos

At first I was thinking about a character drinking a hot cup of coffee relaxing under the moonlight but there is not much idea to proceed with

The wall is looking rather bland so I added some stripes and a red rug

I was not planning to add the moon just the moonlight shining through but the sky is looking boring and needs some luminaries

Here you can see I added shadows and highlights to make it even more interesting
