Daily doodle time no sketch plan, just letting the brush and my idle hand wander, and then boom, this chubby gray cat decided to show up fully dressed for a quick run in the hood. I gave that soft plushie look: super rounded body, big round head, stubby limbs with those cute light patches on the arms. They are like worn spots on a favorite toy, and these huge expressive eyes with bright rusty red pupils + white shine that scream. Gave him a tiny pouty mouth and a small nose, the works well for his cuteness.
Threw him in a simple black bodysuit, but the real star is those oversized maroon boots that are way too big, super bold against all the cool grays and black background. Positioned him off-center, like he is lounging forward to start his morning run. The dark navy background keeps everything popping without stealing focus, and I stuck to flat colors + minimal shading for that clean, endearing vibe.
Proportions are all exaggerated for cute plushie vibe (big head, short everything else). Kinda gives Puss in Boots energy but dialed way back to innocent and whimsical like a storybook main character. Sometimes the unplanned ones turn out the most fun.
