Lore: Moondrop handles the snow routes staying alert while Whiffle sleeps through most of the trip and when he wakes up, he is the navigator, spotting trail markers, listening for distant bells, and catching things Moondrop might miss. They work smoothly as a team: one focused, one tiny but smart, always getting the mail where it needs to go.
Hey community this is my entry for the Frostfall Founders Character Design Contest. I chose to bring the Bundlebug Snowpost Courier to life, focusing on creating a character that is tough in the cold winter and huggable. My main goal is to meet most if not all the amazing design notes provided in the brief. I intentionally layered the gear like the fluffy blue scarf (my favorite to draw) to get that Bundlebug shape. You can see the glow of the magical compass charm hanging from the belt so this courier could navigate the swirling snow.
The heavy satchel is overflowing with parcels tied up tight, and on top of it is a cute little detail: my tiny sleepy helper critter, whose gentle snores are like calming music to the ear.
Thank you for this wonderful prompt I enjoyed the process building this small world of Moondrop and Whiffle. Hope you guys would join in this contest too.

I was planning to create a human courier but this cute pup just popped on my screen. Still second guessing if I can really pull this off just a pale wide eyed cute pup
I need to nail the layered look from the brief and this blue scarf is so satisfying for me to draw.
It took a while to fine tune all the details from the satchel to the map and scarf making sure I had included most of the design hints and prompts.
I did a quick review and realized that the satchel is just a brown vessel there should be something in there to tell about the courier so I drew these envelopes.
Here is the compass, all the details could be small but they take time to create
I got impatient and bored with the details and almost forgot about the sidekick. I took a break and when I got back this tiny sleepy helper emerged. It was easy and fun to make. I love how he is sleeping soundly on top of the satchel with a nice scarf and warm coat ah oh he has a red pillow. You would not notice this cute detail unless you zoom in. Hope you like my entry

The mouse is too tiny to be noticed but you managed to add lots of beautiful details that made this work. I love this duo

I was also considering animal characters for this contest my entry though is wearing a mask and I could tell if it is human or an animal hahaha regardless I think I can use an animal character next time. Good luck in the contest
