I am joining the character design contest of @cabalen. I have been following the Frostfall because I am curious to see how the village will be completed and today I read that buildings of Frostfall needs some characters and that is what this contest is about, I think that is a way to keep it more interesting so I wasted no time and drafted this character. I am choosing the Luminary sanctuary and the assigned character who is called the glowbug waylight keeper.
Elder Fendyr is the lightkeeper of the Luminary Sanctuary in Frostfall. He carries a staff with a lantern so he can light all the lamps surrounding the sanctuary he is guided by his moth companion which gives him directions to properly execute his task. It is quite difficult to navigate the area when there is a heavy snow fall. Though he is small and quiet, the village knows that his soft glow is the very heart that keeps their long winter nights from feeling lonely.
I was thinking about an elder character when I conceptualized my original character. The silvery wintery hair will match the color of the moth companion that is the plan
It was fun and easy creating my character. I had to make him look older because he is a founder and an elder so I gave him a long beard and thick brows and a mustache. The layered robe I decorated with silver jingle bells as per the design hints specified in the contest.
I made the background dark so his hair would pop also I made him and his lantern glow

I think the silver bells are beautifully made they look real
You made a cute elder of the sanctuary I like how small he is gives me that idea that he is hiding something more magical despite his size
