Hey guys glad to be back again to share this new original character OC that I made on my quiet time

Foliaris, the Sprout
This is a new character I designed which follows the same evolution pattern as the previous Vespup series mostly in three stages. It is fun drawing your initial idea just basic no expectations then the fun part is you can stop if you don't feel like proceeding and if the initial sketch is promising that is when I decide to further evolve. Well, the first form above which is the smallest I call Foliaris. Sounds like a flower already. Before it explores the immediate environment it starts in a small dirt in the garden.
Lore & Origins
Foliaris is born from a small seed pod that gets tossed around by the wind. It has no significant name yet at this stage other than the floral sound of the name. It carries a small basket on its back that is filled with seeds it found while lazily wandering. Foliaris likes the bright sun and finds dirt to start small gardens. It takes a long time to plant, so it stays in one spot for weeks or even months. It has small pointed ears similar to the elves and cheerful eyes. Its hair is bright and blue with flouncy ends.
Creature Profile
Species: Garden Sprite
Order: Vernal Watchers
Type: Mystic / Green
Disposition: Small Gardener
Key Trait: Seed keeping and slow, patient growth.
Abilities
Sprout Sense (Passive): Foliaris can feel new growth underground. It always finds the best dirt for planting.
Seed Pouch: A small pouch on its hip holds its most special seeds. They never go bad.
Sun Calm: Stays perfectly still in direct sunlight. Small health recovers slowly.
Slow Walk: Moves with short steps. Cannot run, but never gets lost in high grass.
Evolution Line
Foliaris (Lv. 1): The small seed keeper learning to grow small things.
Foliora (Lv. 30): The middle form, tall and slender, learning to walk between trees.
Arborealis (Lv. 55): The full form, strong and stern, guarding the older parts of the woods.
Foliaris's design is all about young focus. It wears bright colors like magenta, teal, orange to show its happy nature. Its head is small and rounded, and its ears stick straight out. It still has its small basket of seeds because it has not yet learned to move notes between fullgrown trees.
My characters sometimes are easy and quick to conceptualize like in my initial sketch below. I am thinking plant life, flouncy hair, slender limbs and elfin disposition

But there are times that there is hardly any idea materializing or showing up on my canvas just my blank long stare but Foliaris showed up real quick and that is quite motivating like I would wing this particular task

Even the colors came in easy because purple and teal somehow inspired this palette

I will be posting the evolved versions next time I am planning two more. I hope you enjoyed reading and learning about Foliaris
