I saw this new drawing challenge on the PenUp app called Let's Draw a Box. It is open until March 15, so I thought I would try my hand at it before the deadline. When I looked at the other entries already uploaded, I noticed that a lot of artists chose to draw a cat inside the box. It’s such a common sight, but it's just so cute that I decided to do the same thing too
I must admit that, I am still having a lot of fun with this PenUp app on my phone. I used that fountain pen brush again to get those uneven lines I like. My hand was a little shaky while drawing the fur, but I think it makes the kitten look softer and more made by a human handI don’t want it to look too perfect I want you to see that a person actually made this while sitting down for a few minutes.
I used very simple brown and tan colors for the box and the kitty to keep it looking clean. I am thinking to show you how a simple box can make a pet so happy. I really like how peaceful the little guy looks while he’s sleeping.
