Alright, another human figure for the shape challenge. This time, the original shape was this angular, almost zig zag bright magenta color. It looked like it was already dancing, so I just had to make a figure that captured that same lively feel and energy to it.
I used the bold, rectangular parts of the shape to form the legs and torso of this person in a very stylized magenta jumpsuit. I particularly love how the sharp angles of the shape translated into the cool, jagged neckline of the outfit and those pointed shoes are as sharp as a shark's teeth. The pose is so expressive and full of movement, like jumping for joy or running after a snatcher hahaha.
This piece really leans into the graphic, bold style that I always love. It’s all about using those clean color blocks and strong lines to create a sense of action and personality. I can work with minimal detail to give the feel of fun and funkiness on this piece. This challenge is awesome for pushing me to see figures in unexpected places. What do you think?

This is the reference image and it looks like a step ladder or a platform shoe what do you think? Why not give it a try reimagine it using your creativity as the limit and show it to us on the Draw A Day community
