Here is how I transformed a basic shape for the doodle magic drawing challenge, I had this curvy, almost fiery looking orange blob to work with. Okay, what's hiding in here? I saw a cute little Clownfish taking shape
I think what really worked here is how I kept the vibrant orange color from the original shape, but then smoothed out the lines and added those distinct white patches to make it clearly a fish. You can see I went for a really simple, almost minimalist art style it is very graphic and bold, with super clean edges and a kinda chunky, fun look. I love how this style lets the shape and the color do all the talking. No need for intricate line detail when you can make a fish this stylized and simple but still recognizable and so cute.
It was really fun to take something abstract and give it life in a clean, graphic way. Who knew that fiery blob was actually just a fish waiting to be discovered. Let me know what you think
