I was drawing a little picture today just a practice though. I am trying to capture how the scene looks right now with all the leaves changing. I really like this big tree in the middle, it's got a big trunk and just a few orange leaves still holding on. I want some heavy branches drooping from their own weight. The air is kind of foggy, which I think adds a nice mood to it.
I put in two people interacting parent and a child taking a slow walk, on the checkered path. The child is playful and the mom watchful. It gives the drawing a nice little moment. The little fence railing behind the tree is simple but I think it works for the background. The orange tiles tie everything together to give it that wide open free space for all.
It's a nice little reminder of how things look when the weather gets a bit cold. Hope you like it.

The tree is looking like a majestic magnolia I wonder what is the inspiration for the tree. I 💕 the atmosphere it is indicative of a coming frost
