I will be sharing a few pieces of educative information about water leaf.
Water leaf is a very healthy leaf for consumption and it's a good business idea to venture into.
Water leaf's botanical name is Talinum triangulare or Talinum fruticosum. Water leaf belongs to the Portulacaceae family and is a herbaceous perennial plant with edible leaves.
Benefits of water leaf: Helps protect your body from damage and keeps you healthy. Reduces swelling and pain in your body. It is also good for your eyesight and vision; it helps boost the immune system and lastly it supports digestive health.
I'm from Akwa Ibom state and water leaf is used to prepare many delicious delicacies like Afang soup, editan soup, vegetables soup, Atama soup to mention but a few.
Water leaf is planted most especially in the southeast and the eastern region in Nigeria. Some people use it as cleaners and some use it as a form of medicine.
Water leaf is commonly cultivated in the southeastern and eastern regions of Nigeria. Beyond its culinary uses, some people utilize it as a natural remedy for different purposes.
In fact, I recently visited my mom's shop, where she sells food stuff, and I assisted her in attending to customers.
A customer purchased water leaf worth ₦1,000. I attended to the customer with joy, knowing about the benefits and usefulness of this leaf. Looking for a business to venture into?
