Desde pequeños nos criamos en una zona con muchas carencias económicas, en casa éramos muchos y las ganancias del trabajo de mi papá y mi mamá a veces no alcanzaba, Sin embargo a pesar de todas estas cosas mi papá y mi mamá me mostraron lo que es tener un espíritu de emprendedores, porque teniendo el deseo de cuidar de su familia, siempre iniciaba un emprendimiento.
Voy a contarles un poco sobre mi mamá y uno de los últimos emprendimientos que tuvo, mi madre era una excelente cocinera, tenía una sazón increíble que no he vuelto a probar, porque por supuesto que tenía bastante experiencia había pasado toda su vida preparándo comida. Durante su vida tuvo varios emprendimientos pero cuando, ya la vejez la limitaba mucho decidió aprovechar su buena sazón.
Así que preparó una de las comidas que más nos gustaba a nosotros sus hijos, hallacas. Mi mamá con ya 80 años, decidió ganar su propio dinero extra preparando hallacas, al principio hacía pocas y por encargo, porque sabía que no podía arriesgarse a que no se vendieran todas. Vivía en un sitio en el que no pasaba tanta gente y debido a su edad no podía ir a ofrecerlas, así que también pensó en eso.
Recuerdo claramente cuando iba a visitarla ver el cartel pegado en la puerta de su casa, "se venden hallacas" parece algo simple y no muy elaborado, pero poco a poco sus pocos clientes fueron recomendando sus hallacas, así que en poco tiempo ya tenía muchas personas que le compraban. En ocasiones a veces debía decir que ya no le quedaban hallacas y que debían esperar.
A su edad nos dio una lección a todos sus hijos que ya pasábamos de los 40 años, nunca es demasiado tarde para animarnos a iniciar un nuevo emprendimiento. Pero así como lo hizo mi mamá hay muchas cosas que considerar, por ejemplo nuestras mismas limitaciones, hay que aceptar que hay cosas que no podemos hacer, como mucho esfuerzo físico. Pensando en eso podemos sacar la cuenta y comenzar por poco, calculando bien que no tengamos perdidas.
Ella nunca me lo dijo pero seguramente a veces hubieron días en el que no le fue tan bien, pero ella siempre con amor hizo todas sus hallacas y por ese mismo amor es que consiguió bastantes clientes, de hecho yo era uno de ellos. A veces tenía que llamarla con antelación para que me guardara mis hallacas. Igual que mi mamá, no hay que perder las ganas de echar para adelante y de iniciar un nuevo proyecto.
Así como mi mamá Hay muchas personas y qué bueno que lss haya, porque son un ejemplo para todos nosotros de que siempre se puede conseguir la manera de hacer algo que nos permita sentirnos útiles y a la vez que nos ayude a ganar algo de dinero. I am going to tell you a little about my mom and one of the last ventures she had, my mother was an excellent cook, she had an incredible seasoning that I have never tasted again, because of course she had a lot of experience, she had spent her whole life preparing food. During her life she had several ventures but when her old age limited her a lot, she decided to take advantage of her good seasoning.
So she prepared one of the meals that we, her children, liked the most, hallacas. My mother, already 80 years old, decided to earn her own extra money preparing hallacas, at the beginning she made few and by order, because she knew she could not risk not selling them all. She lived in a place where not so many people passed by and due to her age she could not go to offer them, so she also thought about that.
I remember clearly when I went to visit her to see the sign stuck on the door of her house, "hallacas for sale" seems something simple and not very elaborate, but little by little her few customers were recommending her hallacas, so in a short time she already had many people buying from her. Sometimes he had to say that he was out of hallacas and that they had to wait.
At her age she gave us a lesson to all her children who were already over 40 years old, it is never too late to encourage us to start a new venture. But just as my mother did, there are many things to consider, for example our own limitations, we have to accept that there are things we cannot do, such as a lot of physical effort. Thinking about that, we can take the account and start small, calculating well that we do not have losses.
She never told me but surely sometimes there were days when she did not do so well, but she always made all her hallacas with love and because of that same love she got a lot of customers, in fact I was one of them. Sometimes I had to call her in advance so that she would save my hallacas for me. Just like my mom, we must not lose the desire to move forward and start a new project.
There are many people like my mom, and it's a good thing there are, because they are an example for all of us that we can always find a way to do something that allows us to feel useful and at the same time helps us to earn some money. Muy bonito y emotivo tu post, imagino el orgullo y admiración que debes sentir hacia ella. No debemos dejarnos doblegar por las circunstancias, tenemos que buscar la forma de solucionar nuestros problemas, esa es la actitud, caer llorando y levantar con una sonrisa, una y otra vez. Buenas tardes @liliayjuvenal convengo con ustedes en que la edad no es un impedimento, aunque hay que ponerle un límite a lo que implica el trabajo como tal.
Tu madre muy digna de admiración, pues hacer hallacas es un trabajo fuerte y a los ochenta hay que ponerle mucha voluntad y entusiasmo.
