Having a digital Marketing strategy in a developing tech country can be a great step up in the competitive market. There are so many business entrepreneurs here that done understand the advantages of Digital Marketing. One thing I love about my country is that everyone can actually own a business or start any sales they want, except for drugs or health substances or some set of Manufactured foods, because they will need approval for health reasons.
Most low-income and middle-class people often survive here as traders they mostly outside, stay on the street and wait for customers to purchase the items they want. They do this from Morning till night, and most times, it is always crowded there and vvevery stressful especially in an over populated country like Nigeria.
There is one business strategy that most people fail to notice, which is helping this small business to put their sales online and also branding them too, by creating a Seo for them or probably creating an app to engage them.
I have always had this idea, my style of digital Marketing is not directly marketing but just being a digital advantage to their smaller business. It would be through an app or earning from them to create SEO and social Platforms for them. I know this startup might look like it is easy and anyone can do it at the comfort of their home, but to me not really it still has potentials in it of being a good business especially to a developing country that little people or few people only the youth k owns about tech.
If you say all these things are accessible and can easily be done by anyone, then think of why we have multiple banks when all bank has the same functionality except for the central banks.
If I get to look deep into this, there won't be a need for people stepping out to get their local goodies or things nearby they can just be delivered through calls all I have to do is help them create a page online like Google search engine optimisation or probably build an app for within that vicinity that will connect them to this local business.
I know things like this might be common in a developed country this is why I said Nigeria is a good start with. I don't necessarily need to help them create a social media page; they can do that, except if it is a business social media Page.
I could even help them out in making Polo and caps in their business name to advertise also. And design branding for them, I could make it in the form of a subscription term where people pay Penny's monthly or make it a contract under the company too.
I can also help this local business engage in research for free grants or support from the government. It will still be part of the setup in relation to the style of business they do, and we can negotiate percentages on the gains after the grant.
I will help them if needed, also create a site or probably a standard search engine optimisation with a good write-up and well-arranged, most people don't know about this. I don't need a building to start this. All I need is a good marketing strategy to engage people in the advantages of getting these things around them.
To start this strategy, it will be with my friends or probably people I can trust and try to sort them out one by one, but the best thing is for me to start first, then as time goes by, I will engage with more people. The local street is my target on this, what do you think about this strategy?.
