YLAI is an initiative created by the United States Department of State that seeks to strengthen the capacity of emerging entrepreneurs through a training, mentoring and business linkage experience in the United States. The main objective of this active program is to provide tangible tools for those who lead innovative projects and those who want to scale their businesses with a real impact on their communities.
Participar en el YLAI significa mucho más que asistir a talleres o recibir capacitaciones, es formar parte de una red continental de líderes que comparten una misma visión: transformar sus entornos a través del emprendimiento, el compromiso social y la innovación. Los seleccionados tienen la oportunidad de viajar a Estados Unidos de América, integrarse a una organización anfitriona relacionada con su sector en un estado específico del país, y recibir consultorías personalizadas y gratuitas para potenciar tanto su crecimiento personal como el de su negocio.
Participating in the YLAI means much more than attending workshops or receiving entrepreneurship training, it means being part of a continental network of leaders who share the same vision: to transform their environments through entrepreneurship, social commitment and innovation. Those selected have the opportunity to travel to the United States of America, join a host organisation related to their own sector in a specific state of the country, and receive personalised and free consultancy to enhance both their personal growth and that of their business.
La beca tiene un tiempo de participación online que trasciende los 6 meses, junto a una modalidad presencial de 39 días consecutivos en el país extranjero, además de cubrir todos los gastos del proceso: transporte, visado, vuelos, alojamiento, alimentación y materiales. Por otro lado, como aplicante selecto, recibirás un teléfono móvil inteligente como regalo, 2000 dólares en tarjeta de crédito, perks y merchandising personalizados de la marca de la beca.
This fellowhip has an online participation time that goes beyond the 6 months, together with a face-to-face modality of 39 consecutive days in the foreign country, in addition to covering all the expenses of the process: transport, visa documentation, flights, accommodation, food and materials. On the other hand, as a selected applicant, you will receive a smartphone as a gift, a $2,000 credit card, personalised perks and merchandising of the program brand.
La convocatoria está dirigida a personas entre 25 y 35 años que lideran emprendimientos consolidados con al menos dos años de operación. Se valoran la innovación, el impacto comunitario y la sostenibilidad del negocio del aplicante. YLAI busca agentes de cambio, individuos comprometidos con la transformación social y líderes empresariales para darle un giro de 180 grados a sus vidas.
The call is aimed at people between 25 and 35 years of age who lead consolidated ventures with at least two years of operation. Innovation, community impact and sustainability of the applicant's business are valued. YLAI is looking for agents of change, individuals committed to social transformation and business leaders to make a 180-degree turn in their lives.
