Congratulations to the winners for this week about our ways to survive the heat. They are relatable, from taking a bath two or three times a day or to swim in the clear river to eating ice cream, whatever we could think to quench and refresh. We are being resourceful.
Hope the rain comes too so the plants will go back green.

We are still anxiously awaiting the rainy season, but until then there are 12 motorbikes that ride by on the highway every morning with loudspeakers. Although they don't make any of the snacks themselves, they purchase them from nearest town and upsell them a bit to folks like us who live in the middle of nowhere.
