I think you are right, a lot of people have those kinds of thoughts. I turn 50 this month and I have been thinking more and more about a lot of that stuff over the past five years. It's just a natural thing. I am also lucky enough to have both my parents still and my wife's parents, but I know the clock is ticking on that. It's scary. Also knowing I have prepared well for the rest of my life is scary as well. Especially as I approach the point where I could retire soon if I wanted to. Getting old kind of sucks!

yeah I suppose this is very normal but I always just thought that it wouldn't happen to me, just like everyone that came before.
