Three weeks ago, I came here to Dubai for job opportunities. Fortunately, in two weeks' time (since I arrived), I landed a job in a dental clinic. Since I have a week of doing nothing while waiting for my first day at work, I decided to visit the EXPO 2020 Dubai as well as to experience the Coldplay concert.
I took a train going to the EXPO. It took me more or less an hour to arrive. As you can see in the picture (red line), I came from Centrepoint station going to EXPO 2020 station. Endpoint to endpoint. It wasn't really a big deal to me though coz I was enjoying the train ride. Hassle-free and just chilling sitting on the train and with my headset on.
This is what the EXPO 2020 station looked like. Seems like you are at the airport. People were flooding since the Coldplay were going to perform that night. Everything was systematic and orderly.
Get ready with your ticket and vaccination card when you enter the EXPO. If you are unvaccinated, you must present an RT-PCR negative test result upon entry. By the way, I got my EXPO ticket for free from Emirates airlines as complimentary ( since I flew with them). However, you may purchase it online or once you arrived at the EXPO for AED50 (more or less 700 in peso).
When I enter, lots of people were gathered to watch the Coldplay. Since I am new to the place and the concert didn't start yet, I decided to stroll and visit each pavilion. Here are some pavilions that caught my attention and each pavilion displayed some facts.
I stopped by to get a Chai. It is a famous drink here in UAE. It's tea, milk, and ginger mixed together and the weather was kinda chilly (winter season here in UAE). This hot chai was a big help to get warmth. Then I decided to continue strolling and these displays on the side made me interested.
At this point, people were roaring and fireworks started then I quickly walked back near to the entrance where the Coldplay concert took place. It was very crowded and I just maintained social distancing. Here are some pictures from the concert.
Actually, this is my fourth visit to Dubai. By the time I knew that there will be an EXPO in Dubai, I was just dreaming and hoping that I could make it. Here I am now, have it to experience personally the once-in-a-lifetime event plus with Coldplay concert. Another memory that I will forever treasure.

Looking at the scenes of the photographs, it seems like I got lost in EXPO 2020 Dubai. You seem to have enjoyed it very much.
I did especially reading those fun facts inside pavilion and along the side of the street. It's just tiring to the feet after. 😅😅
