No it is relative to what people earn and it is cheap if you have Dollars, Euros or Pounds, but in Rands it is expensive. The average salary I guess is around $800 monthly with nearly 50% unemployed. If restaurants charged those prices you see in other countries only the business expense accounts would be their clientele.
