I honestly don't care and I am tall enough that other people don't see the thinning hair in the middle of my head lol. You know about it if you sit in the sun though and maybe I will join the sports cap brigade. If it bugs you then get it done as you can guarantee it will only get worse. I have just got reading glasses so that is kind of out there for me lol.
An ex work colleague my age shaved his hair off in support of a friend having cancer treatment and what was funny is his hair never grew back properly. Basically leaving him with a ring around the outside like a toilet seat. He has since shaved it all off and is a joke every time we bump into each other. He tried the comb over and dying his grey bits, but it looked fake lol.
I think that if you are losing your hair you have 3 choices: Shave your hair really close and find a way to make that your look, do a comb-over and look like a jackass, or spend a bunch of money and do what I am doing. This will only be part 1 though, just because you transplant some hairs doesn't mean the other ones aren't going to get weaker.
The doc today was telling me that a lot of people could prevent this sort of thing by using tegrin or monoxidil or whatever it is called. Once the hair is already falling out and weakening it is too late for that product to do anything. There is an oral one that you can take but one of the side effects is that it is basically the opposite of Viagra so needless to say, it isn't very popular.
