I have friends who have their kids teaching English in Korea and China. Both offer a different experience ,but they are well looked after as they have been doing it for years. Their expenses are minimal so everything earned is basically savings.

and this is the way that it needs to be done. If you aren't putting any money away, which is the case with most ESL teacher in Thailand, what the hell are you doing it for?

Do your friends' kids have degrees in something Education related?
