Greetings dear friends of the #Asean Hive and #MarketFriday Community!

Yesterday falls on the fourth day of the month and it's Friday. At 10am in the morning, I went to the bank to get my aunt's monthly pension. Then I headed to the downtown part to picked up the medicine for my aunt.
Took some shots while the car is running, so please pardon me if it wasn't good enough. As I lift my heads up the sky, I liked the way how the clouds are formed. So I still captured it even if the view is not that pleasing.

We left the downtown area after I bought everything that I needed there and decided to do the grocery in the mall which is nearer to our place.

The goods were arranged neatly and clean. And it is grouped accordingly to its kind and its purpose.

There were fruits and vegetables on display too. They looked fresh. And I like how they are packed.

Some of them were already cut. They are packed in different groups depending on what your recipe is. Then we just have to washed it to make sure that it's really clean. There's no need for us to peel and slice it. The vegetables are ready to cook. It will save time for the cooking preparation.

Oh my, when we head to the counter, there's a lot waiting in line. I know it will be a long wait. We didn't have a choice. I was a bit worried because I will still go to work.

After paying, I head on to the fast food chain to buy spaghetti and hamburger for my kids. Sure they will be happy. But it has a lot of customers, so I need to wait again for my queue.

While going home from work, I bought roasted chicken and paired it with pickled papaya for dinner. For me, it's a perfect match. We call the roasted chicken as inasal, and the papaya pickles as achara/atsara in our native language.
That's how my MarketFriday goes. It's tiring but fulfilling and worth it.
This post is also my contribution to #MarketFriday initiated by @dswigle.

And every post has their own map too!
Want to have your post on the map too?
Thank you for posting about #MarketFriday. You had already posted about the chicken yesterday. You went to the store and for the experience, it is nice to know where it is, a little of what you bought and sometimes prices so we can compare ours with yours. Not a list of things, but, part of your content. I am not sure where you live, so this makes it hard.
#MarketFriday began as a way to reach out across the globe and learn about different cultures through their markets, especially local markets and farmers markets and eventually branching out and evolving over time from straight shopping to a cultural affair as it highlights how we differ and then again, how much we are alike. We have become a melting pot of culture, but, it is still the Rituals, Festivals, food, architecture, even your language/languages that separate us... Along with the fact of what is these things are normal for us. There are unwritten rules that rule our social behaviors. I see this as allowing for increased tolerance between cultures and nations, and opportunities to come together on an even playing ground. A strong culture can be beneficial to a country as it promotes unity, especially during a crisis, peaceful debate, and open dialogue. I have learned so much about all of you and it has been an amazing experience. I can only hope that learning about each other can help us work together for a peaceful world.
Fridays are all about the #MarketFriday Challenge! Looking to take part in it? Here is how:
Take pictures! Be creative!
5. Drop the link into the MarketFriday comment section so I can find it
7. You must put #MarketFriday by @dswigle somewhere on your post. If you don't and someone reads it, there is nothing to tie #MarketFriday to that post.
As always, please remember! #MarketFriday loves you!
Hi @dswigle, Thank you for taking your time in reaching out to me and for your support. I will gladly keep all your tips, suggestions and rules in mind. Hoping that I can apply everything that you have said here on my next #MarketFriday post. I apologize if ever I have broke some of your rules in this post of mine.
