It's been three weeks or 21 days I haven't been out of the house. This is the longest grace period I have done, because it is a situation that does not allow leaving the house due to the COVID-19 pandemic situation. The Taiwanese government

Two months ago, before Ramadan, my friends and I made our last trip before the pandemic. My friends and I visited Taipei Zoo, or what is often called Muzha Zoo, is the largest zoo in Taiwan, which is located in the Wenshan District, Taipei-Taiwan.

I visited two months ago, before Pandemic outbreak

This place is a famous zoo in Taiwan which is also used as a means of conservation and research. Taipei Zoo, is also the largest Zoo in ASIA, with a total of 165 hectares, of which with more than 90 feet of progress. For almost 10 years I worked in Taiwan and lived in Taipei, this is the first time I visited Taipei Zoo.

Before entering the animal shelter, visitors must first pass a body temperature check and fill in the data according to their identity cards. Visitors must also comply with the COVID-19 prevention protocol by wearing masks and avoiding crowding.

Iguana's place

There are several places that I visited, I will tell you about starting when I visited the Snake Habitat: When visiting the habitat of this animal, I was a little afraid to see the types of snakes that each tail was in a box surrounded by the glass: Starting from the size of the python, which I often read the news about snakes that can swallow human bodies alive, to cobras which are famous for their venom.

While passing through the monkey habitat, I saw them gathering and lazing after lunch, then followed by visiting the pedestal chicken house, which was inside the cage. When I visited the Koala enclosure, I saw them relaxing in the tree with the camera aware. Because every visitor points the camera, whether it's a cellphone camera or any other type, they will put their bodies up to be a shooting model.

Koala's place

Because of the size of the Taipei Zoo, my friends and I did not finish visiting all the animal habitats that are protected in this place. It was very hot at that time, but you don't have to worry. Soft drink coin machines are very easy to find here, so you don't have to worry about dehydration.

Overall, this place is fun for vacation purposes, especially if you bring children. While walking while introducing the types of animals and cultivating their love for the environment. So that later they grow and live side by side with nature and not destroy it.

Wow! 165 hectares, that place is huge. You could spend a whole day there and not see everything The zoo here in Paramaribo, Suriname only takes 15 minutes to walk through and see everything. I could watch the koalas all day. Thanks for sharing.
