It's December already and expected that many events will be coming, and I am happy to attend in this coming events, in which all of this I did for God's glory alone.
What I am about to share now is the first event that I have attened, and this is the 1st Thanksgiving Celebration to a Church in which my Cousin and a Senior Pastor of our Church were invited.
When I have heard that I am also invited to attend, I never hesitate for it is nice to witnessed such a celebration like this. But as what I always do in every blog post I have, I will first give thanks and appreciation to all my supporters most especially to the Admins and all Curators, thank you so much.
My cousin who is also my Senior Pastor in our Church told me that their is a Church Thanksgiving Celebration in which we were invited to the said celebration, and it is great to witnessed for it is their 1st year Thanksgiving Celebration.
The celebration will be happening by afternoon around 2:30 in the afternoon, that is why we have went to the Church by 1:30 in the afternoon so we can attend the program.
We have finally arrived at the Church which is located at Tipanoy Iligan City. This is my first time to be here in the place at the same time in the Church, and the name of their Church is, "Hesu-Kristo Ang Dakilang Pastol".
It is also my first to know that thier is a Church who's name is this but I do believe that we are one in faith to God. As we arrived, the Thanksgiving Celebration program is already started.
We have then accommodated well and asked to sit in the front so we can see properly and it is their way to cater us, to be sitted in front. It is nice so we can easily watched the program they have and all who were involved.
Some of the Church Members were also given a time to share their life testimonies most especially that they have reached their first year Thanksgiving Celebration. The one who shared their testimonies are those who were here in the Church since the start, and all of us were very blessed of what we heard.
After hearing the Church Members life testimonies, it is now also time for the Praise and Worship. All of us were called to stand as we will begin the main part of the program.
The Praise and Worship Team are now called and it is now given to them the rest of the time as they were assigned to led us to praise and worship God in Spirit and in Truth. Truly God is in our midst as we continue praising snd worshipping God.
Just after the Praise and Worship, it is now time to show to us what the Children and Young people Department prepared as their presentation. This should not be missed as this is part of the program.
Now, the Children show to us their Dance Presentation with the help of their Pastor. It is nice and all of them are so cute and adorable to look at when they dance for the Lord.
With regards to the young people, two of them came in the stage to share their song presentation. It is also great to see that even though they've a bit shy to show their presentation, they still do it for God.
We are now in the main part and one of the most important that everyone should have to be serious and prepare. It is now time for the preaching of God's Word with the guest speaker.
I really know who the speaker is, and I thought it is my cousin but when the speaker was called, I don't personally know him as it is my first time to know and meet him today.
But as he started sharing God's Word, God really works unto his life and he shared God's Word with boldness and anointing from God. It is our time to listen carefully and serious as will as the Children.
The theme for today's Church Thanksgiving is all about "Seek God First" which we can read in Matthew 6:33. It is a common Bible verse but as what our speaker said, it is very important.
He shared 7 important ways we can seek God first. And the main point of all what he shared is that, while we were still living, we should seek God first above all. Wherever and whenever we are, we should seek God first.
It was around 5:30 in the afternoon when the sharing of God's Word concluded, and it is now time for our dinner. But before we ended the program, the guest speaker was given a gifts of appreciation first.
The Thanksgiving Celebration was officially ended around 6:00 in the evening and it is now time to prepare our dinner. All of us Pastors were called to go to the table that they've prepared while other visitors already have food packs to be given.
After all, it was already around 7:00 in the evening when we finished eating our dinner, and it is also time for us to go home as we need to travel. And thank God for everything that have done today, and thank God for we have also got home safe and sound.
