Such a great day for all of us and today another day for me to share the recently Church Divine Service last Sunday in which it is the first Sunday of our Church Divine Service, and at the same time our Communion Sunday.
I am happy and pleased to share it as my "A Day in Life" blog post here in the community. I thank and praise God for giving us the privilege and an opportunity to serve Him with all our lives.
Before I go forward with my sharing of the happenings to our Church Divine Service, let me share my thanksgiving first to all of you my fellow Hivers and supporters here in the community, and in the Hive platform as a whole. Thank you so much for the unending support most especially to the community Admins, Curators and to all my fellow co-Hivers.
As always, our Church Divine Service will happen every Sunday but since this is the first Sunday of the month, it is set to be different as we will be having our Communion Sunday, to commemorate the Last Supper and the Death of Jesus Christ.
It is scheduled to start by 9:00 in the morning that is why together with my Mother and our Baby King2x, we woke up very early so we can prepare early too and be able to go the Church as early as we can.
We arrived in the Church just on time and it is not started yet as we still waiting for others to come. Until a few minutes, the Church Divine Service will be starting and I was assigend today to be the Emcee.
I started the program with an opening song for the Lord. We welcome His presence here in this place and that he will dwell to each and everyone of us.
After then, the sharing of life testimonies to some of our Church Members were now next. We make it only three Church members to share so we can used the time properly. We thank all of them who shared their testimonies in which those were given us encouragement in life.
After all the sharing of life testimonies from our Church members, it is now time for us to express our thanksgiving and appreciation to God through praise and worship.
But before we go with our praise and worship, we first did the reading of the Scripture or the Word of God. It is the wife of our Senior Pastor who read the Scripture and we also followed in reading.
Now, finally we are now in one of the main part of our Church Service, and this is the praise and worship. This moment will be one of the best moment we have as we spend this in praising and worshipping God in spirit and in truth.
We keep this time very important and a holy moment for the Lord. What we do is we offer our lives to the Lord through singing a song of praises and worship to the Lord, and even with dancing for His glory alone.
Now that the Praise ans Worship is done after more or less half an hour, the sharing of God's Word will be the next but since I am assigned to teach the Kids on the Sunday's School, I didn't hear and capture some pictures during the sharing of God's Word.
What I've did now with the Kids is to teach them lessons and I started it with their Bible Verse of the Day. I thank God for even just a few minutes they have already memorized the Bible verse that I've shared to them.
After then, I also teach them a song with a dance about the fruit of the Spirit based on the video that I've downloaded in YouTube, and glory to God for they've immediately know the song and dance steps on the video.
At the time when I observed that the sharing of God's Word is about to end, I have also decide to end our Sunday School so we can join the last part of our Church Divine Service today, and this is the Communion Session.
We always do this Communion Sunday every first Sunday in every month. During Communion, we consider it holy as at this moment we commemorate the sacrifices and the death of our Lord Jesus Christ in the cross. We eated a bread as a symbol of His body and drinks a wine as a symbol of His blood.
We really thank God for His sacrifices and death for if it didn't happened we will never be having the gift of eternal life through Christ Jesus. We did it not for us but for His glory alone.
It was already around 12:20 noon time when our Church Divine Service had finally concluded and then we have taken our lunch prepared by the Mother of our Senior Pastor.
We praise God for we have a great and a blessed Sunday's Church Divine Service here in our Church. After then, we went home safe and sound, with full of thanksgiving to God and happy smiles in our faces.
