This past days was indeed a busy days for me most especially when I have attended the Church Anniversary to where my Girlfriend go to Church when she is home in which her father is the Associate Pastor, this is at Tagbalogo Assembly of God Church.
I was invited by my Girlfriend as will as by her father to join the celebration and I am happy to join with them as they will celebrate into its 26th Year Church Anniversary.
I am here to share the happenings during the celebration and I am happy to share it with all of you but before anything else, as what I always do here. I will always give thanks first to God and to all who keeps on supporting me until now.
The Church Anniversary to where my Girlfriend went to Church when she got home is scheduled to happy every last Sunday of the month of November but this year they schedule it in the fourth Sunday this November since November this year have a five weeks in total.
The day before the celebration which is Saturday, all of the brethren were very busy preparing most especially the decorations and other renovations in the Church, and I have also given a time in the evening to help them in the preparation.
Finally the day of the Church Anniversary Celebration has come and everything is set and we thank and praise God for giving us courage and strength the day before until today.
I have come to the Church around 8:30 in the morning and only few were already here and the guest speaker was not yet here that is why we still waiting for him to arrive. While waiting, I have taken a picture of the decorations and it was Indeed so wonderful.
It was around 9:00 in the morning when the Church Anniversary program has finally started. The emcee is my Girlfriend's Older Sister and it was started by an opening prayer by my Girlfriend's Father.
It was then followed by a welcome address by the Senior Pastor of the Church in which this time, he shared a short history of the Church where he started all until now and it was Indeed very nice to hear and admirable how the Church started.
After then, two Church members were called to share their life testimonies on how they get started serving God and their life here in the Church. And as we hear all of their testimonies, it was very inspiring to hear.
It was then followed by the dance Presentation of the Children Ministry. The Kids of the Church are very happy when they were called to present and even the little one joined and all of them are very cute and adorable to look at.
We are now in the middle part of the program which is the Praise and Worship. The worship team of the Church was now leading us in worship to God through singing of Praise and Worship to God.
It is indeed our great opportunity to worship God that is why in every time we have Sunday Service or a Church Anniversary like today, we will never miss our time to Worship God. And we do feel God's presence this time and we give all honor and glory to God alone.
After the praise and worship, the Youth Department was now then called as it is their time now to share their talents for the presentation. Instead of dancing, they've decided to offer a song to God this time.
Now, we are in the last part and main part of today's celebration, the sharing of God's Word. They've invited one of our District's Officer and he is our District Treasurer.
He is now assigned to share to motivate and inspire each one of us through the Word of God. This year's theme is "Faithful Stewardship: Service with Diligence and Integrity". This theme is very timely and all of us are excited to hear the sermon.
He is now started sharing God's Word which focuses more on being faithful steward of what God has entrusted us. God has chosen us for a purpose and entrusted and that we should always be faithful to Him alone.
Thankfully, all of us were very blessed to what our guest speaker shared and my prayer is that, everything will not pass nothing, and that we will apply it in reality. We also thank God for our guest speak offer a prayer to each and everyone of us.
That was around 11:45 in the morning when our speaker ended up his time to share God's Word and immediately the giving of certificate and appreciation is next and it was initiated by one of the Pastor of the Church.
Just 12:00 noon, the Church Anniversary program has finally over and it is on time for the lunch time in which the foods for all has been already prepared.
The members of the Church has been helping each other just to make everyone comfortable during lunch time most especially the guests and the Barangay Officials who were also here.
Thankfully, everyone is done successfully and everyone who came here are very full from all the foods that they've prepared in this very important occasion. We thank God for the provision financially and for the strength as the celebration was done successfully for God's glory alone.
