A busy day for my doggo!

I enjoy a couple of sports and unfortunately for all of the ones based out of the USA it involves either signing up for some expensive online service, going to some dodgy sport site that is filled with redirects and probably malware, or going down to the pub at a rather inappropriate time of day.

This past week there was a big UFC event or so a friend told me, so me and the doggo got up early and were at the pub by 8am. There was already way more people than I like to be around at one time in the place so we took up a seat outside where we could still see the televisions.

It's an Irish pub if you couldn't tell by the barrel that she is sat on. I wouldn't say that she liked sitting there but it was just the right size and she got to see everything from there. About an hour later the sun had moved and she would have been exposed so I moved her elsewhere.

As usual all the people in the bar were happy to see her but there was so many people in there that it was quite dangerous to let her run around on the ground so I didn't let her. After one of the matches she was becoming a bit too much trouble to look after so I took her home. She wasn't very happy about that because she likes to join me on all my adventures, no matter what they happen to be.

There she is, in one of her many beds staring at me with a look of betrayal as I turn to exit the condo without her. I'm sure she was plenty tired from all the action and later on I came back, a bit tipsy and then took her out a second and then a third time! It was a very busy day for her and I think she walked around 3 km which is a long ways if your legs are only 5 inches long. By the time we settled in for the night she was not awake for very long

It wasn't very late, maybe around 9 pm or so and when I put her up in ANOTHER one of her beds that is also on top of my bed, she made it about 30 seconds before she was snoring loudly. I'm sure she loves these days and honestly I don't give them to her as often as I should. Nadi will be 10 years old this year and this is something that scares me. Soon each year that passes will be considered lucky if she doesn't have medical issues. I am not looking forward to those days but I know they will come. This is one of the biggest tragedies of having a fur-baby.

I don't know if you should continue to walk her, but I do think if she don't use it, she will lose it. My dog Lucky lived 15 years, and I think he had a good life, considering we found him many one night stands 🤣

I have noticed a diminished "spring in her step" as far as walks are concerned but it is her choice to go on them and she loves it. We'll continue to do this until she isn't physically capable since it is just about her favorite part of the day.

What a fun day! I know what you mean about too much stimulation! We took our dog camping this past weekend and got home late yesterday morning. After her bath, she didn't so much as move the rest of the day. Too much over stimulation during the weekend!

for sure. Dogs seem to be all systems go or system shutdown. At least for my dog, there doesn't seem to be any other settings.

I know exactly what you mean as the time does come and all too quickly. I have had so many dogs and always say no more, but somehow have another one.

i wish i was in a position where I could get another dog as well as have Nadi but it is just too impractical. I know a girl that has 4 animals and she is transient just like me. As much as I hate moving she REALLY hates moving.

It really nice having Lovely pet like this and also makinhysyre they are in condition and we'll taking care of. I really like her and wow she close to clocking ten years which is awesome.

Doggo is really quite having hectic day ahead. Seems doggo need to rest definitely

Nadi is really owning the barrel, and the thought of her getting accidentally booted and stepped on in a crowded bar could be life-threatening for such a dainty (don't tell her I said that) little thing. Glad she made it back home safely to and settled in one of her many padded octagon rings.

She really loves being around other people so it breaks my heart a bit when I think about her just sitting in her chair and staring at the door waiting for it to open back up. When she was on that barrel dozens of people came by to say hello and when another dog walked by she "had the higher ground Anakin" so she barked with reckless abandon until I stopped her from doing so.
