You don't need permission or money from the DHF to run a HIVE event. If you want to hire a venue and cosplay as a corporate entity (yuck) - you can do that, but if you can't fund it off your own dime, then the thing isn't viable, and shouldn't happen - as it doesn't bring real value, beyond the relationships that form between individuals.
Anyway Once a month, the last Thursday of each month, we get together. You don't need to ask when it is, or where it is, it always is:
Currently, the venue is the Duke of Brunswick Hotel, Gilbert St, Adelaide, South Australia - from 6PM onward.
This is an open invite to anyone in the world with the means to travel and come to a Crypto Meet that has been happening uninterrupted, pretty much since before Hive had its genesis block.
I'll keep that in mind the day I will come to Australia (which is in my top list of places I'd like to visit) 😊
