Fiesta is one of the annual occasions celebrated every town or village here in Philippines in honor of the Patron Saint of the place, and in every celebration there is this small gathering of village people for amusement. Like what our village officials did was they organized a race competition for motorized fishing boat called Bangkarera.
Bangkarera is two Cebuano dialect word that made into one. "Bangka" which means fishing boat and "Karera" for race. Literally it is racing competition of motorized fishing boat in different categories depending in size of the motor used and the size of the boat.
Lot of spectators went on the competition some are supporting their respective teams.
The interesting part is that each participants boat had its unique art designs that really attracts spectators, some boats were painted with bright colors instead of art designs.
Indeed the competition went smooth and winners of the race got their rewards.

It was really fun indeed sir, those boat are made traditionally for fishing and were just customized in art for the sake of attraction and for the competition as well.
