Hello @aseanhive 💛
When you think of the color yellow what comes to mind? For many of us it is the color of warmthhappiness and sunshine. Yellow has a special way of catching our attention and lifting our spirits. But beyond the brightness it brings to our eyes, yellow also plays a delicious role in many of our favorite foods. Three simple yet delightful examples are mango juice the yolk of a hard boiled egg, and the ever satisfying empanada.
Let’s start with the mango juice that golden drink that tastes like summer in a glass. Every sip bursts with sweetness and freshness, reminding us of sunny days and ripe mangoes picked straight from the tree. The rich yellow orange color comes naturally from the mango flesh filled with vitamins and nutrients. It is not just refreshing it is also full of health benefits. Mango juice is rich in vitamin C, which helps strengthen our immune system and vitamin A which keeps our eyes bright and healthy. It is a drink that does not only quench your thirst but also gives your body a natural boost of goodness. When served cold on a warm day
it is pure happiness in liquid form simple tropical and naturally bright.

Now, let’s move to something more solid but equally yellow the hard boiled egg and its beautiful yolk. When you slice open a perfectly cooked egg that golden center almost looks like a tiny sun sitting right on your plate. The yolk is creamy and full of nutrients like protein vitamin D, and iron. Many people see eggs as a symbol of new beginnings or nourishment and for good reason. A hard boiled egg can be eaten on its own with a little pinch of salt or paired with rice bread, or salad. It is simple yet satisfying and its bright yellow yolk is a comforting reminder of home cooked meals and childhood breakfasts.

Then we have the empanada a beloved snack that is often golden on the outside and warm on the inside. Empanadas are a favorite across many cultures from Filipino merienda to Latin American street food. The yellow tone of the crust often comes from egg wash or turmeric giving it that appetizing golden brown color after baking or frying. Inside it can be filled with meat vegetables cheese or even sweet fillings like mango or pineapple. Every bite offers a mix of crispy soft and savory goodness. Empanadas are not only delicious but also comforting something you can easily grab on a busy day or enjoy while chatting with friends over coffee.

When you think about itall three mango juice egg yolk and empanada share more than just their sunny yellow color. They each represent warmth nourishment and joy. The mango juice refreshes your soul the egg yolk energizes your body and the empanada satisfies your heart. Yellow in these foods is not just a color it is a feeling. It is the brightness that reminds us of good days, cheerful mornings and the little pleasures that make life more flavorful.

Empanada a very delicious one. I like your saying enjoy life in simple tastes. One sentence but hits a lot of reflection.
Yes ❤️, thank you i appreciate it ☺️
You know what? I am craving to my favorite empanada while reading your blog 🤣 but I enjoy it, promise. Previously when I am pregnant with my last born, I am also making different kind of home-made foods and one of them is empanada. I make them for our own snacks and of course for business. Hehe I always cook everyday specially school days but it was only every other week when I cook empanada and maximum of 30pcs per day. I can only cook less because we need a lot of energy and hands in making and cooking empanada. Its a lot of works and process and one thing is I was pregnant so I can only make and cook limited number to sell and for our snacks. Anyways I love how you share your hello yellow entry and I love your empanada, it's look yummy.
Wow😍 your comment is heartfelt and relatable i like how you shared your own story about making empanadas it adds a nice personal touch.
That's right because when I see your post/blog specialy the empanada, the memories keeps coming back along with the cravings hehe. I was once a seller of empanada and I missed it. Maybe I can try to cook and sell again once my baby got 1 year old.
