Well, it looks you did a good job, even despite a little crying. If kids aren't used to being away from their parents, this is a common reaction to the situation. You did your best, that's the main thing. I once housesitted for my sister a whole week, watching her seven kids, getting them ready for school every day, cooking, etc., and I must say it was one of the most challenging things I've ever done.
