I love it, especially the little details that show pride in craftsmanship. Here in Cambodia there are similar places, but the work is usually less ornate. and definitely a lot more split bamboo from bad techniques. We have lots of bamboo where I live in the forest, a wild species, but it's not good for construction because it is loved by termites. We are growing some imported bamboo now, but it will be a a long time before we have enough to use it for construction.

Yes, termites loves to eat bamboos but the best thing we did to avoid this problem is to rub with varnish my friend or red dye wax. ☺️
