Well, maybe Nadi realized how much she actually loves you and needs you now that you went away for a bit. There's nothing quite like seeing a furry creature ecstatic that you've returned alive. We get a smaller version of this every morning with our new kitty friend who usually comes sprinting in the door at full speed full of excitement and love to give.

Since returning she is spending a lot more time in the one and only doggie bed that I took with her to the place she stayed while I was gone. I think she feels a special attachment to it now because it was her "safe space" away from the other dogs that were in the house with her. She isn't necessarily afraid of other dogs, she would just prefer they leave her alone. According to the people that were watching her, she would growl at them if they got near her in the dog bed... they quickly learned that his was her territory and would leave her alone any time she was in it.
