Happy Monday Hivers!
The luxury integrated resort in the Visayas and Mindanao is located fairly close to our home. It’s not extremely near, but compared to other integrated resorts, it’s the closest one to us. The name of the resort is NUSTAR. It hasn’t been operating in Cebu for very long, and in fact, the entire resort isn’t even fully completed yet. There are still ongoing construction works, but some parts are already open and operating.
Since it only recently opened, most of the posts I see on Facebook feature celebrities and popular vloggers visiting. I imagine everything there must be quite pricey. But it turns out the food at the mall’s restaurants is actually okay, and they also have a food court. As for other items on display, like clothes, shoes, and other products, I just tell myself ‘for my eyes only,’ because they’re really expensive, after all, they are from popular brands.
But before we went around and had something to eat, we had a surprise for our mom, since we hadn’t told her that our youngest brother had returned from Canada.
Our mom had her back turned when suddenly our youngest brother approached and performed the traditional ‘mano’ gesture. My mom was completely surprised.
After the surprise, we headed straight to Cafe Laguna to eat. We really like Cafe Laguna because they serve Filipino dishes.
After we finished eating, we didn’t go home right away. We took our time walking around the mall with the family since we rarely get to do something like this together. We didn’t buy anything because everything was really expensive, this mall really seems made for wealthy people. We just enjoyed looking around. After our little tour, we finally headed home.
NUSTAR is beautiful, but the items for sale are very pricey, it really feels like it’s meant for people who have more than enough money.
