Hello everyone.
✍️ Yesterday I brought my friends visit a temple built in tai yai art style in mae ai district, which is a neighbor of fang district (the district where I live). Today I will take you to visit another beautiful and peaceful temple. But this temple is in fang district and this temple is also close to Mae Ai District. This temple is called Wat Sao Hin (วัดเสาหิน).
Wat Sao Hin is a thai temple decorated in Lanna art style. Lanna art is the art of the northern people of Thailand. In the past, northern Thai people were called Lanna people. Such as Lanna art, local food of Lanna, etc.

✍️ When friends come to this temple, the first thing friend will see is temple entrance large and beautiful waiting to welcome friends. The roof of the entrance door is decorated in Lanna art style. and the nameplate of the temple made of wood the name of the temple can be seen clearly.

The stone was carved into the image of an angel.
✍️ In addition, on the wall of the entrance to the temple is a lion statue and the stone was carved into the image of an angel. (I am not sure if it is an angel or not. But the idea, I think yes).

✍️ When a friend walks into the inside of the temple. Friends will see the new chapel under construction, and the old chapel will be at the back of the new chapel. The new chapel will be painted white while the old chapel will be painted brown. Unfortunately today The new chapel is under construction and the old temple has closed its doors. So my wife and I did not go to pay respect to the principal Buddha image in the chapel.

✍️ In addition, Wat Sao Hin also has a beautiful pagoda and bell tower. And inside the temple there are many small statues. In this post, I have also take a photo a few samples of those small statues to share with my friends too.

✍️ Wat Sao Hin is a temple located in wiang subdistrict, fang district, chiang mai province Thailand. This temple is on the main road. fang - thaton route. Built in the year A D. 1938 84 years old.

What a lovely encounter. It's breathtaking to witness the Naga (dragon). I would like to go to the temple in my town one fine day and take some shot. When I have the time, I'll go there. 🤞
