Vegetables grown in my longan orchard.

Hello everyone. How are you today? I hope all is well with you and your family. In this post, I will take friends to see the vegetables in my family's longan orchard. I often like to share the vegetables from the home garden. And my wife like uses them as ingredients for our family's cooking. But in our longan orchard, there are still vegetables grown for eating, although she rarely picks them to cook. If we don't take care of the longan trees in the longan orchard, we don't often walk to this orchard (approximately 600 meters). And there are few kinds of vegetables in the longan orchard, they are less than the vegetables in the home garden. Many years ago I used to grow many vegetables in the longan orchard. And there are many kinds of vegetables in this orchard. But when the longan trees grew large, I planted fewer vegetables in this orchard. Now what vegetables are there in my family's longan orchard? Let's go.

Starting with ceylon spinach. It is a vegetable that my wife likes to pick and cook with often. And it's only in this longan orchard. I used to grow it in home garden but it failed. Ceylon spinach is found in various areas of our longan orchard.

The second vegetable, this vegetable is called "phak hai" or "ma hai" by the locals in Northern Thailand. This vegetable is eaten with only the new leaves emerge. And its taste is bitter.

The third vegetable is black sesame. My wife's mother likes to eat this vegetable. So we often plant them in the longan orchard.

Fourth vegetable : Sweet potato. This is the first time we've tried growing it in this orchard. I will update it again, if it is successful.

The fifth vegetable, morning glory. It is another vegetable that is found in various areas in this orchard. And we don't have to take care of them. We just water them once in a while.

Sixth vegetable, climbing wattle. Thai people call it cha-om. There are only two climbing wattle trees in the longan orchard. Mostly i grow them in the home garden.

Seventh vegetable, small vegetable fern or paco fern. Thai people call it "phak kut" It's my son's favorite vegetable. Especially stir-fried vegetable fern with eggs in oyster sauce. I grow a lot small vegetable fern in my home garden too.

The eighth vegetable, bitter melon. In our home garden too, there are these vegetables. But most my wife picks them in the home garden for cooking, occasionally she picks them in the longan orchard. Although it is bitter but my wife and I like to eat them fresh with chili paste or stir-fried.

In our longan orchard, there are also many chili trees and culantro in various areas too.

In addition, it also has winter melon and green brinjal. I just planted them again in this longan orchard a few days ago. Their size is still small. So I didn't take photos of them now. I will update them again in the future. And finally the atmosphere in the longan orchard.

These are the stories and photos I want to share for this post. Invite everyone to see and enjoy my stories and photos. Please forgive any errors/mistakes. Have a great day. See you next time. Thank you for your support and visiting my post. Bye 🤗

They are fast growing vegetables. Maybe they like the shade of the long and tree that's why they just grow fast and healthy.

You got lots of crops there! I love planting sweet potato. It's one of the plants that doesn't need that much of maintenance. And we can harvest much from it when it's its season. Hope they all grow healthy and bear fruits for a bountiful harvest soon!
