Hello everyone. Last month me and my wife read and see information on the facebook pages of local communities in our district. We like to see and read information and news from facebook pages of local communities in our district. So that we can get information on new tourist attractions or various traditional events in our district. This time we read the news that yunnan chinese village in our district is being renovated and develop to make it a more village for tourism. So we planned to visit this Yunnan Chinese village again and I want to share it with everyone in this post. I have been to this Yunnan Chinese Village many times. But I only visited the Chinese shrine and Doi Kham (factory). But this time I will take everyone to see the other atmosphere in this Yunnan Chinese village. This trip, me and my wife took our daughter to the Yunnan Chinese Village too.

Before I share the atmosphere in a Yunnan village. I would like to share a brief history of this village. This village is called Ban Yang. For the Yunnan Chinese in this village, they emigrated to Thailand 70 years ago, or in years A.D. 1953. And one year later, these Yunnanese Chinese emigrated again, moving to the area where the village is now. Now, so the Yunnan Chinese are another ethnic group living in the district where I live.

Ban Yang is located in Mae Ngon Subdistrict, Fang District, Chiang Mai Province, Thailand. Our journey to this village, We have to journey from our village on Chiang Mai rural road 1249 to go to this village. Which has a distance of approximately 13 kilometers. But me and my wife had to send our son and granddaughter to school first. Then, we immediately went to the Yunnan Chinese Village. Take a look, some atmosphere along the Chiang Mai rural road 1249 first.

When we arrived at Ban Yang. This village has an entrance gate to the village. This entrance is a Chinese style arch.

Area the Chinese-style entrance gate and in front of the village, there will be Chinese-style name signs in Thai and Chinese language. In addition, there are large letters in white Thai language. Which is the name of Ban Yang in Thai language. These letters are larger than people. Look at the size of the letters with my wife. And the view behind the letters is mountains and beautiful nature.

When we entered the village. We will see the highlights of the village. And it is the focus of our visit to this village. That is an oil painting on the wall of a house in this village. It was an oil painting on the walls of various houses, which was a Chinese style painting. The local Yunnanese people painted the oil paintings on the walls themselves. To promote tourism in the village. And on the walls of most houses in the village there are these oil paintings. And I took pictures of the oil paintings on the walls of some houses in this village to share with everyone too, Enjoy 😊

When we walked past many houses with oil paintings. We will arrive at Doi Kham (royal factory). And Chinese shrines, places of religious ceremonies for the Yunnan Chinese people in this village. But in this post, I did not share both places. Because I have written stories and photos of the atmosphere of both places in my old posts.
