I remember when we had a beach trip and the fishermen were around catching fish through nets. We enjoyed watching their catch without caring the coldness of the water, Coz the weather was rainy that time. It’s a great experience to watch the fishermen and pay the fresh fish. We paid the fish with a cheaper price than at the market, plus it’s freshness is perfect for kinilaw and tinola!

Yes, that is true, it is very cheaper when we brought fish directly to the fishermen. Back when I a little kid, my Parents loves to go to the sea and catch fish using my Father's nets called LAYA in local term.
