This was another great find that we accidentally discovered yesterday. Me and my partner wanted to go another cafe but it was closed fortunately or unfortunately. It depends on how one would look at it but I still believe it was providence that led us to The Rocky Valley Lodge & Cafe.
We had to walk back to the main road where there were more available ride for us to get us back to town. That's another thing. Because transportation is not that available easily, we had to walk. If we didn't, we wouldn't have decided to go to this place to check it out.

We were hesitant to enter at first because there was nobody at the parking lot that we can ask about the place. You wouldn't have thought that such a place existed when you step on the property. First the parking lot, then a gravel walkway covered with vines and other plants that serve as shade and lined with plants as well.
We passed by the reception which was closed as well. Two huge buildings are to the right and ahead of the walkway. There is another parking area but this was not paved.
I like how lush the property is filled with plants and flowers and trees.

The cafe is located at the top floor of one of the buildings but I didn't head there straight away. I saw another shaded pathway that leads to the back of the property so I checked it out and found a table under a tree. I can imagine myself having a meal or a coffee there.

Right by the entrance was a brick oven where they cook pizza. I was surprised how huge the cafe was. It took up the entire floor. I love the ambiance right away for it was glass and wood. Natural light brightens up the place. The high ceiling added to height and width to the place. The wooden interior and rattan chairs give warmth. It does give that homey vibe.

But most of all, it's the view that I instantly fell in love with. You'll get a view of some of the mountain ranges of Benguet such as Mt. Ulap. I like how they made use of that and maximized it. One can also see the airport. I couldn't get enough of the view. I had to go around and around the cafe to take photos.

For starters, I ordered coffee. I saw Vienna coffee and ordered that but the staff informed me that is a cold drink so I just went for Americano. Hot beverage is just perfect for a place like this. That's just me though. Once that arrived, I proceeded to taking photos again with it.

We also ordered their signature pizza and brownie a la mode. Their pizza consists of everything everything, meat, cheese and other toppings. You can choose from thin crust or cheese rolls but we just went for the regular thin crust. Their brownie a la mode is perfect to top off everything.

Everything looks, feels, tastes great here. There's wifi available too. They just opened last January so their menu is limited which is understandably so and they only accept cash for now. If you plan to come visit the city, consider The Rocky Valley Lodge & Cafe.
