A sad goodbye to one of my favourite shoes

in ASEAN HIVE COMMUNITYyesterday

It is another Wednesday, and I usually spend Wednesdays clearing out stuff. I have this plastic bag ready, and I will look around to see what I can get rid of to bring to the recycling centre if it is still deemed to be useful. Normally, for most, the weekends are the holidays. For me, it is Wednesday.

Hoarding, at times, is an emotional attachment to sentimental stuff that we own for a while. At times, I have to make sure that I have to remove stuff that I do not use anymore, either by discarding it or recycling.

Under Armour running shoes

I have placed these sneakers on a shelf for a long time. I ran with these sneakers for at least 700km. The soles are almost gone, and some parts have already torn. The glue of the shoe has also dried and has made the show more brittle. A good pair of running shoes usually last about a year before they get torn into a state that makes it almost unusable.

These shoes have red lining and are quite nice to look at.

One thing about shoes is that, after a while the glue slowly hardens and it slowly detached with the upper of the shoe.

These were the glasses that I bought when I started to work.

SUB brand. It has slowly deformed.

It's a very strange feeling to see them at this state at this point of time when they were once new. So, I guess, I am going to remove them and have pictures of them for memory instead of keeping more stuff at home. More and more sentimental stuff is surely to gather at home and it is hard to remove some of them at times.

My small bonsai

Recently, I've been busy with my plants, fish, hamsters, and tortoise.

I have been having this Bonsai for almost two months. This is the

Orange Jasmine

The leaves of this bonsai are all quite small.

Recently, I brought back a hamster cage with two dwarf hamsters. Quite cute. They were abandoned.

At dinner, it was time to eat here.

This is an authentic China restaurant that sells Chinese food.

This restaurant sells lots of kebab style food that is slightly on the more spicy side.

These are the noodles that my wife ordered. This tastes a bit like the Korean Japchae noodles. Chewy and springy.

Does this look delicious?

Thank you very much for reading this post. Have a wonderful day ahead.
